- I teach at Georgia College and State University. Like my colleagues, I teach across the nursing curriculum. I enjoy teaching, writing and research. I co-authored Informatics and Nursing with Linda Thede. The 4th edition, Opportunities and Challenges, was release in February 2012. The 3rd edition subtitled, Competencies and Applications was published in 2009. I am the Editor of the MERLOT (Multimedia Educational Resources for Learning and Online Education) Health Sciences Editorial Board. My research interests are: 1) education effectiveness for our School of Nursing; 2) Web 2.0 in nursing education and Health 2.0 in Healthcare; 3) Collaborative Model for Risk Factor Reduction Associated with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2D).
